Some stamping, forming, press-fitting, and assembly lines are still driven by hydraulic power. By applying servo technology to these lines, we not only improve productivity but also make possible more flexible and compact equipment for achieving small-lot, multi-type production. By implementing this core technology, we now boast the top share in Japan of the electronic toll collection (ETC) startoff control systems used at expressway entrances and exits.
